• Account info: name, email, date of birth, gender, preferences.
• Profile data: prompts, values, interests, voice notes, answers.
• Photos: images you upload to your profile or gallery.
• Messages: conversations with matches.
• AI Companion memories: reflections and moments you share with your Soul Companion.
• Device info: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, approximate location.
• Verification data: selfie images and liveness signals submitted during human verification.

We collect only what's needed to power thoughtful matchmaking, personalize your Soul Companion, keep the community safe, and improve the experience. We never sell your personal data.

What you share on your profile is shown to other members according to your visibility settings. You decide who can see your profile, who can message you, and who can see your photos.

Photos are stored in secure object storage with restricted access. Profile photos respect your photo visibility setting. Verification selfies are never shown to other members.

Messages between matches are private to the two of you and to Soulr's safety team only when a report is filed. We never read messages to build marketing profiles or feed advertisers.

Your Companion remembers what matters to you so future conversations feel like talking to someone who knows you. These memories are private to your account, never shared with other members without your consent, and never used to train public AI models. You can view, edit, or forget any memory at any time — see our AI Transparency page.

We collect technical signals (device type, OS, app version, IP address, coarse location) to keep your account secure, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

We use a small number of essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which features people rely on. Analytics are aggregated and never tied to your name, photos, messages, or Companion memories.

To earn the Verified Human badge you submit a brief selfie check. The image and liveness signals are reviewed by our trust & safety team and stored under strict access controls. You can request deletion of your biometric verification data at any time.

• Active account data is kept while your account is open.
• Deleted content is removed from production systems promptly.
• Limited security and abuse-prevention logs may be retained where required by law.

You can permanently delete your account, Companion memories, reflections, uploaded photos and conversations from the Delete Account page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, row- level security on user data, and regular security reviews. Please use a strong password and report anything suspicious to privacy@soulr.app.

We share limited data with trusted service providers — hosting, database, authentication, AI inference, transactional email, payments — strictly to run the product, under confidentiality agreements. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

• Access, edit, or delete your data at any time from in-app settings.
• Export a copy of your data on request.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Soulr is only for adults 18 years and older.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
